Proposed Food Park at Lichipukri, Siliguri

Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority proudly announces the Foundation Stone laying ceremony of the proposed Food Park at Lichipukri, Siliguri. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharya shall lay the foundation of the park on 30th June 2007 in the presence of Mr. Asok Bhattacharya, Hon’ble Minister Urban Development and Municipal Affairs of West Bengal and other dignitaries and officials.

Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority and North Eastern Frontier Railways proudly announce the inauguration of the first fly-over in Siliguri at Mahabirstan. Visit of Standing Committee on Science& Technology and IT on 6-7th Dec, 2006

The Standing Committee on Science & Technology and Information Technology of the State Assembly had visited Siliguri on 6 – 7th December, 2006 and taken note of the development already taken note of the development already taken place in this field and been informed about the proposed development in the IT sector, specifically IT Park which is being developed at Matigara by SJDA. They also visited the BPO unit operating from Siliguri, STPI and Proposed IT Park and had interactions with the District Administration, SJDA Officials and others related to this sector.

The PERSPECTIVE PLAN 2025 OF SJDA AREA has been unveiled by Hon'ble Chief Minister OF West Bengal, Sri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on 06.02.2004. The copy of the Volume -I (Status Report) and Volume-II (Proposals) are now availble at a price of Rs 300/- each individually. The joint volume price is Rs 500/-.Any interested person can collect the copies from SJDA Office, Siliguri.
